Peter and Libby were married at The Colony in Kennebunkport, Maine during the first week of October. The rain could not bring this fun loving couple down. Family from just about everywhere braved the usually chilly, wet weather to see their big day. We had a lot many great images of this day, here’s just a peak of the unique!
Bridesmaids watch as Libby puts on her final touches. And this is what sisters are for— double checking for minty fresh breath! This is one of my favorite prep photos of the year! So funny! Libby and her family have a very good sense of humor!
A bagpiper calls guests to the wedding ceremony. He sounded great! In the Scottish tradition, all the men on Libby’s side of the family and service wore kilts to celebrate too!
I love this picture of Libby smiling down the isle with her father. He’s got teary eyes. It was sooooo so sweet. And check out those kilts! Love it!
The Colony set up a very nice ballroom up for Libby and Peter. It was unfortunate that rain cancelled the outside event, but it is nice to see an elegant fix.

So after portraits and in the drizzle, Libby decides she wanted to play on the putting green. (Told you she was funny!) Peter was quick to grab some clubs and away they went! Next photo, Libby sinks a putt and waves to the cheering wedding guests who were on the porch for cocktail hour.

I had to show this… on the last dance of the night, Libby and Peter pulled their Colony staff attendants up to dance with them— a promise kept from earlier in the week to dance all together at the end. Then some other staff members jumped on the dance floor too and well… tray balancing tricks ensued. Pretty cool. I have the best stuff this year! (BTW, that’s Pam, Colony coordinator on the far left there! Great sport!)
