Taylor and Peter married at Boothbay Harbor’s beautiful Newagan Seaside Inn. This gorgeous wedding pulled out all the stops including fireworks, a magnificently dressed bride and one huge sailboat! Taylor planned her dream wedding to her dream guy for over a year. Her sweetheart Peter is a professional sailor. The Rhode Island couple met at the Boothbay Yacht Club, so a spectacular get away wedding at a Maine waterfront resort was fitting. Guests sipped champagne with Maine blueberries pre-service, dined in style by the sea, rocked out with iJam (a Boston band), and were surprised with fireworks at night. After a flawless day, an extremely happy Taylor sailed off in an amazing sailboat driven by her captain— and now husband — Peter. What else could a gal want? My best to you, Peter and Taylor, for a life of smooth sailing. Your wedding day is one I personally will never forget! Gorgeous!

Taylor stayed calm, but focused in the morning. Her ‘something borrowed’ family necklace and blueberry champagne with the girls.

Above: Loved the silver pieces for aisle flowers. Very nice touch! Below: A carpet of white rose petals ran the aisle for Taylor and Peter. Flowers by Alda Stitch…. outstanding.
Taylor slips on Peter’s ring. Married!
The couple laughs hand-in-hand during their short, but super sweet ceremony.
Taylor and Peter walk down the back stairs of at Newagan Seaside Inn to their waterfront reception.
So I mentioned that Peter is a professional sailor… this is the sailboat he brought to sail away with his bride. Niiiice!
The sailboat made for great portraits!
The girls lost their hot pink heels to get on and off the boat. I grabbed this shot during portaits just for fun.
Tent up! Tables ready! Sophisticated style — check.

I loved, loved, loved these sweet, simple chair tags. When Taylor tossed her veil to mingle … this photo lined up perfectly!
The wedding party waits for the bride and groom to hit the dance floor.
I adore this picture of Peter and Taylor dancing.
Taylor and Peter on the sailboat again. We had so many good shots!
Taylor on the dock in her gorgeous mermaid gown.
(Sorry kids, you groove it, I’m going to get it!) Friends ham it up on the dance, dance, dance floor.

I caught Taylor happily taking it all in for a second…. a perfect wedding.
Four kinds of different cards prompted guests to leave well wishes!
These stir sticks were a great way to celebrate the date!

Taylor and Peter choose pie and sweet treats over traditional cake.
Peter and Taylor during the toasts! Great job by all who spoke!
Their rings… the white roses helped me achieve this very classic, timeless look I wanted.
Sperry Tents are really beautiful at night. See all the wee people partying inside?
Guests partied well into the night.
Taylor kept the surprise fireworks a secret until the very end. Guests had no clue! It was an amazing bride and groom send off. What a treat!
And they lived ….
