Laudholm Farm: Sheri and David

There’s really only one word to describe Sheri— bombshell. This “genetically blessed” bride, as her sister called her during the wedding toast,  is hard to take your eyes off of with her amazing physique, her statuesque height and killer blue eyes.  (And ladies, I’d love to give you a reason to dislike her, but she is absolutely lovely.) A perfect package, if you will, of brains, energy, warmth and caring. She makes a great friend. David considers himself the luckiest man alive. And why wouldn’t he? The two met on Match.com and fell in love completely. The super-duper cool David, a dentist and entrepreneur, found so much in common with Sheri. Both enjoy business, travel and surfing — a wonderful combination of work and play! The dynamic duo are obviously best friends too— love to see that! Their lively spirits made for gorgeous images at Laudholm Farm in Wells, Maine. (This couple has been a blast to work with … you may remember their engagement session earlier this year.) Guys, it has been my pleasure to be part of your wedding story. Take a look at this incredible event! Enjoy!

Sheri… gorgeous.Sheri’s hair was so nice with a flower to set off her look.

Here’s a  sign of the times. David sends Sheri’s Dad a text message before the service. We were all crying at David’s heartfelt message— see below.

David’s text read: “Pete, I want you to know that I am always going to take care of Sheri. I’ll keep her safe and love her…” Love the girls blotting their eyes behind!

Sheri and her  Dad in a classic Woody car head to the church.Sheri and Pete make their way down the isle together.I’d like to say this is a look of love, but I think it is a look of “behave” to David during the service. The couple lights their unity candle. The mass was very nice.Married!Sheri talks to guest out the window of the woody car after the service.Tables were done in navy and pink. The couple at the beach. Love the reflection here.Love the feet too. This is an infra red piece I worked up for them just for fun.The seating cards carried the Maine seaside theme through.Flip flops encourage the ladies to get comfy.

Sheri looking Greek goddess like!

Love these pictures… this is how much fun Sheri and David are as a couple. Their friends and family were really great too.The surfers went for a very cool cake topper. So cute!Sheri and her Dad Pete dance together. The band was amazing!Food by Kitchen Chicks. Fabulous and pretty!Sheri gets fed cake by David. He can be a bit mischievous.

Both David and Sheri love to get down.Love this picture. There was really nice color for me to capture at this wedding.

Guests packed the dancefloor! The wedding tent after dark. What a beautiful couple and wedding. Sheri and David, I adore you and wish you all the best! I know we’ll stay friends as the years go by!

Leslie Robbins - Sheri and Dave,
It was so good to meet you today. Your wedding photos are wonderful. The car looks very good too. :)
Thank you for your gifts, the flowers are very pretty and we will probably use the generous gift certificate and go with Fred and Margaret.
There is a saying, 6 degrees of separation – and it holds true with you both using Beth as a photographer. I went to the September 2009 archive and reviewed Jessica and Christopher’s lovely photos – take a look.
Beth, terrific work, as usual!!!
